Residential Housing after WWII

After world war two soldiers came home and mass prduced housing in suburbs became popular. ?In the Kansas City Area this is reflected in many subdivisions within the I-435 loop in both Kansas and Missouri.

This prototypical suburban community was the first of many mass-produced housing developments that went up for soldiers coming home from World War II. It also became a symbol of postwar suburbia in the U.S.
